Why Give to the Riverfront Foundation?

The success of programs at Riverfront is evident in every individual who is living a real life. At Riverfront, you’ll find people who are gaining skills and making choices for themselves. They are earning paychecks, living independently and making friends. They are happy to leave behind the days when a life in an institution would have dictated everything from what time they could have a snack to how often they could go for a walk around the block.

Riverfront believes each person born deserves more than an existence; each person should lead a life of dignity, respect and the opportunity to make choices for themselves.

While the Riverfront budget is modest, the cost for providing support for individuals with disabilities can be high. It is only through the vision and generosity of contributions that it becomes possible to provide the level of support each person needs and deserves. Thank you.

Your gifts to the Riverfront Foundation make it possible for someone to go camping with friends, to see the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame or ride the Ducks at Wisconsin Dells.

You’ll provide the support someone needs in landing a job and growing in job skills.

You’ll make it possible for the Riverfront Singers and the Riverfront Dancers to share their love of music with each other and with audiences throughout the community.

You’ll create dozens of smiles and lots of self- confidence as people learn to shop, cook and do many other things for themselves.

Gifts of cash are usually the most convenient way to make a charitable contribution. Stocks, bonds and appreciated property are popular types of contributions and allow for additional tax benefits.  Check with your financial advisor or tax attorney to find out if planned giving is right for you.

There are many ways to become a donor to Riverfront.  Click on the links below for more information.
